Friction Savers - TreeStuff.com Product Review

Whether you call them a friction saver, false crotch or cambium saver, they all do the same thing; protect trees from potential wounds created by your climbing line, which also greatly extends the life of your rope. There are many different types, but there is no question about their increasing necessity in professional tree climbing.

In this video, Nick looks at friction savers, discusses the differences and specialist models available, and shows us what he calls the "Mack Daddy" of all friction savers.
