The Petzl Hand Ascender features an ergonomic molded handle ideal for rope ascents. Designed with an overmolded grip and ergonomic upper part easily grasped-even with thick gloves, the Petzl Ascension ascender is great for use on long climbs. The toothed cam with self cleaning slot is easily engaged with a thumb lever and ideal for frozen or dirty ropes. Two holes of different sizes provide attachment points for slings: an upper hole for clipping a single carabiner, and a wide lower hole on the rope clamp for two carabiners.
