Great i love it. Spliced a small and medium ring to some 1/2" tenex and puts some chafe sleeve on it. It works great and the smaller ring can use a traditional retrieval ball so i can set the rings from the ground and rig the lower branches off a tree and not have to go all the way back up to retrieve it. Keep it simple stupid!!! Saves lots of time seriously stop thinkin about it and buy some!

Makes great redirects and adds the perfect amount of friction. Cheaper, easier and lighter than a block.

what an outstanding advancement to splicing slings and X rings, they are truly beefy enough to handle just about anything you can throw at them. What a fantastic design, they can accept 3/4" rope and never spit it out, the channel is deep enough to make sure of it. Great addition to my splicing hardware.

Hahaha I just finished splicing my rig and ring using 3/4 Yale Polydine and the X rigging rings. I was telling my self: Geez I wish the groove in this large ring was a tad larger because this 3/4 rope fits in too tight. Then I sit down at the computer, open up Treestuff websites to look at the new products (yes it becam an habit and it drives my wife crazy) and BANG here are the ABR thimbles!! haha!! Oh well, I'll just splice a new one... GREAT WORK GUYS!
