Singing Tree Rig N' Wrench System
This innovative idea from Kevin Bingham takes the Rope Wrench one step further. A sewn Bee Line Blue tether connects the Rope Wrench to a DMM Pinto Rig pulley. This rigging system allows a groundsperson to handle more weight without the use of a traditional friction brake.
- Available with or without the Rope Wrench.
- Extreme caution should be taken in determining appropriate load size. The Rigging Wrench only provides a single level of non-variable friction or braking force.

A 'must have' - 07/08/2016

Used this for the first time today on a medium size Cedar dismantle with long branches overhanging a garage and phone lines. One groundie on this job and it took all the heat off of him and meant I didn't have to wait for him (or trust him!) to tension the lines etc. Such a useful gadget that will save a lot of time for those that work in small teams. I was very surprised at the size of limbs I could lower and even raise. This is designed for smaller rigging though so be careful. For me this is simply a must have device that I will use all of the time from now on.

I use this device with Forestry Pro, XTC-12 and 16-strand climbing lines (Arbormaster & XTC-16) and it works like a dream. I usually use an Omni-Block 2.6 for the main block, with the RnW as a redirect when I'm working alone or with only one helper. Seriously improves efficiency and makes it very easy to perform tasks that used to be a big pain in the rumpus bumpus.

This is perfect for two man crews with light rigging.
Since the rope wrench applies friction at your rigging point, in most cases, it allows your groundman to control a heavier load without the use of a portawrap or other friction device at the base of the tree.
After the limb is cut and controlled by the groundman, the climber can take control of the rigging line so the ground worker is free to pull the limbs away from obstacles in tight places as you lower.
You can also lift limbs or stuck branches nearly friction free, as the rope wrench moves to a 'neutral' position, so that you have the advantage of using only the Pinto pulley with no additional friction.

This is the single most life changing piece of rigging gear I have ever owned I have had it for about two months and I use it almost every day for at least one thing. I cannot say enough good things about it. Great for small removals in tight yards, or pruning large limbs out of dense canopy interiors. It operates like a mini GRCS.
