great for a rec and for storage - 12/12/2016

Got this bag at the TCIA expo festivities for free, thanks nick and crew for hosting.
Durable material, kinda flimsy handle but strong thin webbing and good zippers.
The problems lie in the orientation of the throw bag pouches whenever you flop it closed all of your bags flop out, terrible placement and essentially a time hindrance. I don't mind not having an extra strap but it seems like it would've been a nice addition, I just keep it rolled up if I don't need the other one. little cumbersome moving the tarp around with one precariously rolled up...
I don't like using this product in thick brush or windy days in place of a cube. You can weigh it down to prevent it blowing away, but you can get your throwline caught on the throwbag hooks, surrounding brush and blown into a mess if you're not careful.
It's great if you have time and space for it but it doesn't beat a cube for production work.
I have been lovingly using it for throwline storage and pull it out when on spacey jobs. it's thin streamlined shape fits in my truck or work bag seamlessly and is a welcomed addition to my collection.
Great idea, needs some improvement. - 09/03/2016

I have used mine for over a week and after getting used to it not being a cube, I am satisfied. As others have suggested, there should be separate straps for each tarp and closures on the spare bag pockets. The issues I also see are: clips for the bags can potentially snag the line as it feeds off of the tarp, overall storage bag is a bit floppy and could be made more compact if it rolled up and closed with velcro like a tool roll or a fruit by the foot. I am also more inclined to use this for side work and rec climbs, because the design can be a bit impractical on a fast paced work site.

I was lucky enough to be gifted a promotional double bag. I've used it a bunch of times now and I gotta say it's great. I don't disagree with the other review, it'd be nice to strap the two tarps separately.. So grab a foot of bungee or a spare prussik loop. I love how easy it is to find the other end of your throwline because I always forget my friction saver.
If you're facing a bit of a breeze then you can build a little 'fort' from a handful of sticks to open the tarp in, works great.

I like this bag and the concept a lot. The throw line flakes well and haven't had a tangle yet. Best of all, no corners to blow out.
Two things I would change/add.
The extra throw balls always fall out of the pouches and then fall out of the bag when you open the zipper gets very frustrating. A Velcro strap or some type of closure to keep them on the pouch would be appreciated.
The other thing is the Velcro strap that holds the two tarps together. It would be great if there were two so that you could keep one tied up unless you wanted to use both.
