Great rope for natural crotch rigging
no blocks needed here.
Which saves time and money on my part.

Bought this rope for my dad to use for weekend felling operations. It's difficult to find good rope locally where I live and all attempts have left him disappointed with broken ropes and an empty wallet. However after using this rope, he has been all smiles and bragging to his buddies. He has been putting this rope through some serious kabota tractor abuse and it's nothing short of amazing. We don't do all the fancy rigging that experienced people use, but when you just want to rope a tree or log and put the power to it, this rope has all the muscle! And we all know how hard it can be to pleAse the old timers, so this rope also carries that approval. Great stuff.

I climb srt, use a rope walker system for ascents, and try to stay as current as possible on new rope work techniques to make the job safer, easier, and faster. That being said, being able to just toss a rope in a crotch for rigging speeds up removals a ton over putting blocks everywhere, and this rope will take anything you throw at it. We use this for just about all rigging applications, from spider legs (make your own by splicing three strand) to negative blocking. It runs fine through blocks and the portawrap (always use clockwise wraps and it won't hockle), but it's ability to withstand abuse over natural crotches is amazing, and really helps out keeping production up.
