The Petzl Freino carabiner is single-locking and designed with a friction spur for descenders. When rappelling or lowering on single ropes using a GriGri, the Freino provides increased friction without extra gear or the need to open the carabiner. The Petzl Freino Carabiner is ideal for adding or adjusting friction during the descent.
