Reviews for Notch Pro Folding Cube

3.4 out of 5 star average customer rating based on 7 reviews

solid cube - 10/15/2017
Reviewer: Jeff

right out of the box this cube seems well built. A little stiff to open but I think that translates to a stable cube. Red and Green weight pockets make for easy identification of which weight is on top. I opened it up and threw it around and it did not want to collapse at all. there seems to be a rounded tip on each of the rods to prevent them from poking through. We'll see how she holds up!

I have been having trouble opening this up. I have had to have myself an another person help open it.
I dunno if its differnt from the old ones from like the year 2000. But it is rather aggravating!!!

Not good - 10/07/2017

Yah the throw cube holds my balls and my line, but it collapses constantly. Even on a calm day, it is infuriating. Maybe if the good cubes weren't sold out all the time I wouldn't be having this problem.

Oh well.

I find myself fighting to open it. I don't understand. It's frustrating and it is the first one I have ever had. I have always used a stick. Well I wanted to move up it times lol. But some help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Sherrill Cube... - 08/25/2017
Reviewer: Dm

This seems like almost an exact replica of the old sherrill cube with a better material on the base. Bought it for the lifetime warranty, will definitely remain an emergency/loaner/3rd string cube though. It is a decent Cube and can't beat the warranty. Still falls short of the white and red Cube though.

Fell a little short. - 05/27/2017

Same problem as previous reviewer. Collapsed repeatedly, and literally every time the wind blew. Also the Velcro tab that closes it was stitched an inch and a half off center of the ring and had maybe 3/4" of loop Velcro material. Luckily I have a couple rolls of velcro someone gave me years ago and a recently purchased sewing machine, so I fixed that problem myself. But seriously? There are several other manufacturers making similar cubes. We all know who the top and bottom are and the problems associated with the cheaper versions. This Cube seems to be an almost exact replica of the one made by Stein for the same price with the exception that their's works. So far everything I have used made by Notch has exceeded expectations however I was severely let down on this one, to the point that I repaired two of my older Weaver cubes and continue using them over this one. Question, if I make the necessary changes to render it useful does that void any warranty? Or do I send it back? Two words quality control.

Lifetime Warranty - 05/14/2017

My initial thoughts it has a life time warranty the only cube I have to compare it at is the Weaver at 1/2 the price. I have have problems with the weaver the Notch Throw cube is made very well heavy material opens easily. My only complaint is that is also closed easily even when you don't want it to. It could be made a little tighter. But the Weaver was just the opposite and the rods came out all the time. the Notch is a quality product! Tree Stuff is the best.
