Another tool - 12/28/2015

I've used most of the tools that Arborjet has to offer and I can say that the Quik-jet is a fairly inexpensive and relatively easy to use tool for arborists interested in adding injections to their treatment options. It does have some drawbacks in that uptake isn't always as quick as the name would imply - especially with thicker chemicals, but it is a decent alternative if you want to avoid leaving capsules (or a system like the tree IV) unattended, or worry about cambial separation issues with higher pressure systems.

Just okay - 07/02/2015

The quick-jet is a nice tool in that it can inject the chemical into the tree without any return trips to pull empty bottles (mauget). That being said though, it does not work well with the ace-jet chemical. The acephate crystals don't fully dissolve and the valve that opens and closes the chemical in-feed gets clogged, resulting in back flow down the tube and air in the glass measuring cylinder.

I have not had any issues using tree-age through it however. I think as long as the chemical you use comes in a liquid form you shouldn't have any issues.

Saving My Ash Trees - 12/14/2014
Reviewer: Tom Quinn

I bought this system because it looks like I'll need to keep treating my ash trees for Emerald Ash Borer for quite a few years. I've been using the soil drench method for the last couple of years and my trees look better than my neighbor's but in the long run, I think trunk injections are the only answer. Time will tell!

Whole new market - 08/12/2012

This product has opened up a whole new market of revenue for me, and on top of that the system is relatively inexspensive. And on top of all that it actually works i am seeing first hand results of improvement in trees. Great product!!

Great deal, great service, quick shipping - 06/22/2012

Bought this kit, the iron mix, arbor plugs, all from tree stuff. Com. It arrived like in a day, perfectly packaged, not an issue at all with tree-stuff, great company. Really like the detail to sending stickers, a poster, and how they really made sure the iron mix would not leak. Now, about the product. Injected my 7 trees about two weeks ago and now they are just about green again, no chlorisis to speak of. Took about 4 hours but next time it will be quicker. What a good decision to do this on my own. I would highly recommend doing this if you can use a drill and can read directions, and take your time the first time. Love the whole concept.
