The Cocoon 4 Pulley from ART features great design and extraordinary mechanical potential. With two high-quality SKF ball bearings, this redirect pulley is unique in form and function. It was mainly designed to be used with the Ropeguide, but in connection with a sling or a loop runner it can be used in other applications such as an in-line anchor.

The illustration above shows how to install loops or slings easily. No carabiners nor other connecting devices are needed. Rope sling or loop runner are locked directly within the device. Tightening of the cap nut (no tools required!) secures the Cocoon. To grant maximum security the locking mechanism is also equipped with two rings. The black ring supplies the friction resistance needed to prevent a self induced opening of the cap nut. The other indicator ring (red or yellow) provides visual reference that the smoothly rounded cap nut is fully secured. As long as the red marker is visible, the cap is not yet secured.
- The delicately engineered bridge on the bottom has been fortified by 1 mm to resist even tough impacts.
