Description
This standard rope grab from Climb Right offers secure attachment to a lanyard using a cam actuated grab. This new design has a internal spring encased in the cam for tension, instead of the external stiff wire. Installation is done by threading one end of the rope through the grab, reducing the chance of accidental disconnection.

Capacity: 3/8" to 1/2" Rope
The rope grab can replace a Prusik hitch for making an adjustable lanyard. It slides up the rope and jams when cam is loaded. It slides easily downward if the cam is prevented from engaging. Not intended for belaying.
Warning: If overloaded or subjected to an impact force, the rope may slip through the device.
