ISC SH903X & SH905X Triple Action Snaphook

ISC Has recently become aware of a situation with a Triple-action Snaphook, where the second-action keeper interfered with the third-action catch.

Whilst there have been NO reports of accidents or injuries, we actively respond to customer product feedback with all diligence, in order to increase the safety of our products and end users.

Initial observations point to deformation of the second-action keeper (damaged through external forces) causing it to incorrectly engage with the third-action catch.

Click here to read or download the full inspection notice with photos.

The purpose of the Inspection Notice is to remind all users of the ISC SH903x and SH905x Snaphooks to conduct consistent pre-use inspection of their personal protective equipment (PPE), and to retire devices from service immediately, upon the discovery of damage/deformation of any part of the device.

The Inspection Notice will be posted on our website & Social Media pages and may be shared with your customers, as necessary. If you have any questions or need further information, please do not hesitate to contact ISC.
