A perfect belt for hooking up carabiner for dressING rope.

Versatile V - 04/04/2015

I've worn this belt every day for a couple years. I've never had a problem wearing it under my harness/saddle.
The V ring has come in much handier than I expected.
I've used it for quick demos to trainees, trying out new ideas at home when inspiration strikes, and with my secondary lanyard if I have to lean out of the bucket a bit.

Every one is so astounded to have an emergency clip in-if you have a carabiner you could just clip the belt itself-not that I would, because if I have a rope to rappel on I know how to make a simple harness out of it-a basic skill that all tree climbers should know for rescue situations, and the v clip is going to be digging in and pinching under your harness, much better off buying 5 tree climber belts instead.

nice peace of mind - 01/05/2014

This is a very well made belt. I have climbed several times with it and have not felt the discomfort that others have reported. I am also a little "soft" in the mid section so perhaps my "padding" is absorbing it. It is a quality made belt though, nice peace of mind to have on in case of an emergency. I am curious however of the load rating for this.

This thing is genius! Built like a mountain, and the comfort of having that V-ring is HUGE....

I don't climb with this belt because its some what uncomfortable when my harness gets on top of it, but for hardcore backpacking or tree stand hunting - this belt is a must....The fact that you have a place to clip into immediately, even though you will most likely never need to - is very comforting.

This is the best belt out there and I tried alot of them! It holds awesome(doesn't slip) dries quickly, looks cool, arborwear made and and equipped with an EMERGENCY ring to biner, too! Just an awesome belt, give it a try! :)
