Scenario 3

It's time for Scenario 3! Everything that you need to know is below.

Your crew was called in to remove several large dead limbs hanging over the yard and to conduct some other ornamental pruning on the property. Initial inspection from the ground shows that there is a major dead limb that is compromised - visible rot, missing material, and fractures seen at the union and throughout.

The tree lacks a significant center and ideal area for a central tie-in due to a storm a couple years ago. Because of this, the climber, Paul Victim, made an ascent and set up an M system (V-Rig).

Having removed two low hanging large dead limbs already, the other crew members left the immediate vicinity to retrieve water for the climber. Upon returning, the ground crew members found Paul Victim unconscious, hanging in the center of his V-Rig directly underneath the major dead limb with visible swelling and red marks on his face and neck. No one knows if he has a bee allergy, but it is known that the remaining crew members do not have allergies.
