Description
The peavey is designed for handling logs. It is similar to a cant hook except it has a pointed spike at the working end. The spike allows you to move larger diameter logs than a similar sized cant hook. The spike can also be used to pry and push logs around. Joseph Peavey invented the original in 1857. This tool is fitted with a quality hardwood handle,4 1/2 in length, 2 3/8" in diameter, with a Western Duck Bill Hook.
