Description
Set up your own awesome rope swing with the right equipment! This kit includes everything you need to set your rope swing except for the seat - which can be as simple as a 2x6 board with two holes. The included rope has a sewn eye that attaches to the premium Petzl Delta Link, includes a UV-resistant coating, and has a special blue core that shows if the rope is damaged. Simply use the TreeStuff throw weight and line to start the line over the branch, then tie the throwline to the included rope and pull it into the tree. Once the rope is over the branch and both ends are on the ground, put the Petzl Delta Link into the eye on the rope, and thread the other end of the rope through the inside of the Delta Link. As you pull the rope through the Delta Link it will cinch down on the tree limb, securing your rope swing.

How to use a throw line to put a rope in a tree - VIDEO
EASY ROPE SWING SETUP:
- Attach throw weight to throw line
- Throw throw weight over desired limb
- Untie the throw weight, and tie the throw line to the eye of the rope
- Pull the throwline until you have the eye of the rope
- Untie the throw line and slide the Petzl Delta Link into the eye of the rope
- Take the opposite (no eye) end of the rope and pass it through the inside of the Petzl Delta Link
- Make sure you close the Petzl Delta Link
- Pull on the no-eye end of the rope until the Petzl Delta Link reaches the limb
