Break Your Stuff

11/08/13

TreeStuff can now Break Stuff!

TreeStuff.com is excited to introduce the availability of our new Break Testing Service. We are the proud owner of a brand new 20 horizontal 25k proof test machine, and we want to make it available for you to use for break tests on splicing and climbing configurations.

Got a splice or piece of hardware you want to test for your own knowledge and benefit?

  • A graph print-out of the break test will be emailed to you along with a photo of the broken piece
  • Break testing done on a 20' 25k horizontal Proof test machine
  • Complete data acquisition including elongation is recorded
  • A short rope piece (under 6') is required with two termination points
  • Break test can be done in basket or straight pull configuration
  • Results are purely informational
  • This does not certify your piece in any way
